Marta Riquelme Medina es Doctora en Administración (Cum Laude) con mención internacional, actualmente trabaja como profesora en Administración de Empresas en el Departamento de Organización de Empresas I de la Universidad de Granada. Su investigación se centra en los ecosistemas empresariales. Específicamente, ha estudiado el papel de las capacidades de gestión del conocimiento en contextos de ecosistemas empresariales, el éxito de la colaboración con la competencia (es decir, la coopetición) en tales contextos, el fortalecimiento de las competencias y agilidad de la cadena de suministro y el logro de innovaciones en contextos de ecosistemas empresariales.
Los resultados de su investigación se han publicado en revistas como //Production Planning & Control//, //Journal of Business Research//,// Industry and Innovation// y// Entrepreneurship Research Journal//. Además, Marta asiste regularmente y presenta sus trabajos de investigación en congresos internacionales de alto nivel, como:// the Academy of Management (AOM), the European Academy of Management (EURAM), the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA)//, donde recibió el premio al major trabajo Harry Boer Best Student Paper Award (2021), //La Asociación Científica de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa// (//ACEDE-Spanish Academy of Management//), donde su investigación recibió el Premio al Mejor Trabajo en la Sección de Estrategia Empresarial (2022), y //the World Open Innovation Conference//, donde fue finalista del Premio Kaja Rangus Best Emerging Scholar Paper Award (2022). Por último, Marta está activamente involucrada en proyectos de investigación financiados de forma competitiva a nivel nacional. Además, junto a un equipo de investigadores internacionales, recientemente obtuvo un proyecto de la Red de Investigación para Jóvenes Investigadores de EuROMA (2023), donde ocupa el cargo de Investigadora Principal (PI).
Su contribución al conocimiento trasciende las fronteras nacionales, realizando dos estancias de investigación internacionales: i) en la Universidad de Lancaster, clasificada entre las mejores universidades del mundo en los campos de Gestión y Administración de Empresas según el Ranking de Shanghai y ii) en la Universidad de Copenhague, que ocupa el 1º en el país de destino (Shanghai Ranking, ARWU 2021).
Por último, ha recibido varios galardones a lo largo de su carrera. En el ámbito profesional, es una de las ganadoras de la IV Edición de Talentage organizada por la Fundación Cruzcampo (2017). En el campo de la enseñanza, recibió el Premio a la Innovación Docente ACEDEDOT OMTech (2022) en el XIII Taller de Gestión de Operaciones y Tecnología (ACEDOT) con el taller titulado "Una aplicación práctica del juego de roles basada en teorías de motivación". En el ámbito académico, recibió el Premio Extraordinario de Fin de Carrera en Administración y Dirección de Empresas de la Universidad de Granada (2016); el Premio a la Excelencia en Movilidad Estudiantil Internacional, después de su Erasmus + en 2014-2015 (2017); los Premios UGR-Caja Rural de Granada a la Excelencia en el Rendimiento Académico Universitario (2016); y el Premio Andaluz de Trayectorias Académicas a la Mejor Trayectoria en Gestión y Administración de Empresas (2017).

Marta Riquelme Medina holds a PhD in Business Administration (Cum Laude) with an international distinction and currently works as a lecturer in the Department of Business Organization I at the University of Granada. Her research primarily focuses on business ecosystems. Specifically, she has studied the role of knowledge management capacities in business ecosystem contexts, the success of collaboration with the competition (i.e., coopetition) in such contexts; the enhancement of supply chain competences and agility, and achievement of innovations in business ecosystems contexts.
The results of her research have been published in journals such as //Production Planning & Control, Journal of Business Research, Industry and Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Research Journal//. Marta regularly attends and presents her research work at high-level international conferences, including //the Academy of Management (AOM), the European Academy of Management (EURAM), the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA)//, where she received the Harry Boer Best Student Paper Award (2021), //the Spanish Academy of Management (ACEDE),// where her research received the Best Paper Award in the Business Strategy Section (2022), and the //World Open Innovation Conference//, where she was a finalist for the Kaja Rangus Best Emerging Scholar Paper Award (2022). Additionally, Marta is actively involved in competitively funded national research projects. Moreover, alongside a team of international researchers, she has recently achieved the EuROMA Early Career Research Networking grant (2023), where she holds the position of Principal Investigator (PI).
Her contribution to knowledge extends beyond national borders, as she has undertaken two international research stays: i) at the University of Lancaster, which is ranked among the world's top universities in the fields of Management/Business Administration according to the prestigious Shanghai Ranking, and ii) at the University of Copenhagen, which ranks first in the destination country (Shanghai Ranking, ARWU 2021).
Furthermore, Marta has received several awards throughout her career. In the professional sphere, she was the winner of the IV Edition of Talentage organized by the Cruzcampo Foundation (2017). In the field of teaching, she received the ACEDEDOT OMTech Teaching Innovation Award (2022) at the XIII Operations Management and Technology Workshop (ACEDOT) for her workshop titled "A practical application of role-playing based on motivation theories." In the academic realm, she received the Extraordinary End of Degree Award in Business Administration and Management from the University of Granada (2016); the Excellence in International Student Mobility Award, following her Erasmus+ program in 2014-2015 (2017); the UGR-Caja Rural de Granada Awards for Excellence in University Academic Performance (2016); and the Andalusian Award for Academic Trajectories in the Best Career in Management and Business Administration (2017).
