Coincidiendo con los actos de conmemoración del XXV aniversario de la creación de la E.T.S. de Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos tenemos el honor de invitarles a participar en:
INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP “ASSESSING FUTURE SCENARIOS OF GLOBAL CHANGE, IMPACTS AND ADAPTATION MEASURES IN WATER RESOURCE SYSTEMS”
Organizers: Proyecto SAWARES (IGME-UPVLC): Plan Nacional de I+D+I; ETSICCP-UGR
Supporting organizations: Plan Nacional de I+D+I, UGR, EMSAGRA, AQUALOGY AQUA AMBIENTE
Date: June 25, 2013
Venue: Salón de Actos de ETS de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de la Universidad de Granada (Granada, Spain)
OBJECTIVE: Provide a framework to exchange knowledge and experiences about the assessment of future climate change scenarios, their impacts on water resource systems and the design of adaptation strategies. This workshop will explore advances in modeling that contributes to the integration of climate and land use scenarios into a coherent framework for improving decision-making on the adaptation of water resource system to future scenarios. Several experts in the field will participate as invited speakers. The workshop is organized in the context of the national research project SAWARES (funded by the Ministry of Economics and Competitiveness, Spain) on Sustainability and Adaptation of WAter REsource Systems to long-term future scenarios (SAWARES). The project co-leaders will present the main project results.
